Stacking the Shelves is a weekly book event hosted by Tynga from Tynga's Reviews. Stacking The Shelves is all about sharing the books you are adding to your bookshelves, may it be physical or virtual. This means you can include books you buy in physical store or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts, audiobooks and of course ebooks.
For this week, I had received my paycheck early and thought of dropping by Fully Booked the Fort branch to buy some books.
Here are my hauls for this week:
Purchased from Fully Booked
The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern
The Thief by Megan Whalen Turner
Lola and the Boy Next Door by Stephanie Perkins
I picked up Matched and The Night Circus after reading the reviews from fellow book bloggers and Goodreads. The Thief was highly recommended by a friend who's been raving about this book for years so I finally caved in and bought it. I was supposed to buy Anna and the French Kiss but the book was out of stock so I picked up Lola and The Boy Next Door instead. For those who have read Stephanie Perkins before, is it okay if I start this book then read Anna and the French Kiss later?
So what's the latest in your shelves this week?
The Thief looks lovely!

These look like great ones. I have The Night Circus, but I still haven't read it. I just can't decide if I am going to like it or not!
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by my blog! I started following you!

ReplyDeleteI loved Lola and the boy next door. I bought The night circus a few months ago but I still haven't read it though.
I'm going to read Thief for bout of books read a thon next week (are you participating?) i'm so excited to start this series I love fantasy :).
Lola and the boy next door looks awesome! i need to read it!
ReplyDeleteMy Letterbox Love!
I've read all of these except The Thief. I'll have to look into that one.
ReplyDeleteI would read Anna first. It's not essential, but she shows up in the second book so you know how the first book ends. You'll enjoy it more if you read that one first.
Thanks for stopping by my blog. I'm a new follower!
Nice haul! I've heard great things about The Night Circus.
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by my blog! Enjoy your books! :)
Awesome haul! One of my all time favorite series is the Matched trilogy by Ally Condie. I hope you enjoy your books. :)
ReplyDeleteThe Night Circus AND The Thief? Great freakin' taste. I love both of those books.
ReplyDeleteAnd sigh, Lola is sooooo adorable.
Happy reading :-)
I really loved Matched. Not so much The Night Circus. But I am in the minority on that one, so I hope you enjoy it! Have a great reading week!
